Digital Signage Simple How-To

It’s time to get started with some seriously simple Digital Signage.

It’s easy to create, upload, distribute, and manage your message to meet your digital signage needs for any application. The components of a typical digital signage installation include dynamic media, content management software, one or more media players, and one or more display screens.

Step 1: Media

Start with the message you want to deliver. With digital signage your content can be anything, including text, images, animations, video, audio, and interactivity. You can use pre-existing media or use a software solution to create an effective message. You will have dynamic, engaging messages in no time.

Step 2: Software

Content Management Software provides a range of different ways to schedule and playback content from one location. Simply download the software to your PC to organize and direct how and when your content will play. PC based systems allow for greater flexibility and lower installation cost.

Step 3: Player

Now that you have your content created and scheduled, let’s work on getting it distributed to your audience. Content is played to the displays of a digital signage network via a Media Player. Just upload your completed content to the media player for distribution.

Step 4: Display

The most difficult part here is determining the type, location, and orientation of your display, touch panel, or video wall. Once your display is installed just distribute the content you created through your media player, and Voila! Your personalized, interactive, and timely message is being seen by your intended audience. It’s that simple!
